Jean-Baptiste Quillien is a Ph.D. candidate from Educational Psychology with a focus on Learning and Cognition. Prior to becoming a graduate student at the University of Minnesota Twin-Cities, Jean-Baptiste completed his undergraduate at the University of Minnesota Duluth with a double major in French and Psychology, with a minor in Linguistics. His research interests are scientific, critical and creative thinking. His current work consists in developing a cognitive model that encompasses the different cognitive processes required during reasoning. He previously developed, with another graduate student -- Erik Anderson -- a new computerized measure of Executive Functions working on iPad (CogFLEX).
