James Houseworth is a Researcher 6 at the Institute on Community Integration at the University of Minnesota. He received his Phd in Educational Psychology from the University of Minnesota in December, 2016. His research background relates to numerical abilities, including how people understand risk expressed numerically depending on context. He has worked both with quantitative and qualitative data and methods. His research and collaborations with others have primarily employed designs and statistical analysis of quantitative information. He has been directly involved in data collection, personally developing, refining, and implementing research with human participants. He primarily works on ICI projects related to HCBS outcome measurement and projects related to outcomes measured by the National Core Indicators.
