Joe Caldwell, Ph.D., is Director of the Community Living Policy Center within the Lurie Institute for Disability Policy at Brandeis University. He has over 25 years of experience in the field of long-term services and supports as a researcher and policy expert. His research focuses home and community-based services and family support policy and practice. Prior to joining Brandeis, Joe was Director of Long-Term Services and Supports for the National Council on Aging, a Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr. Disability Policy Fellow with the Senate HELP Committee, and a Policy Analyst with the Association of University Centers on Disabilities. He was a Co-Chair of the National Quality Forum Committee on Home and Community-Based Services Quality in 2014-16.
